Lucifer season 5 spoilers: DB Woodside hints at episode 2 guest
In a new post on Twitter, series star DB Woodside confirmed that there is someone making an appearance in episode 2 that will “blow everyone away.” Who is it? Well, he’s not saying! That’s a part of the fun, isn’t it? We know that the title for the episode is “Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer!,” and for the time being, that’s all we have to go on.

The idea of a mystery guest, though, is all sorts of enticing. How could it be? It’s possible we could be looking at a situation here where it’s someone like a former cast member — it’d be great to see Tricia Helfer back! Or, it’d be fun if there was a way to bring a guest like Timothy Omundson back as God Johnson. In the end, there are a lot of fun directions that Lucifer as a series could go with this and it really comes down to what they want to do in order to entertain this time around.
(There’s a part of us that wants it to be a Kelly Clarkson cameo, given how she just poured on the praise for the show recently on social media.)
A part of the fun of Lucifer as a series is that because it lives in such a strange, over-the-top existence, it allows itself license to throw all sorts of crazy stuff at the wall. It can do that and not have to worry about realism. The surprise guest could even end up being some celebrity stuck in Hell! The sky (or, in this case, fiery pit) is the limit and we’re stoked to see how the creativity of the writers will be put to the test from here.
