The Bachelor 2020: When does Peter Weber’s season start filming?
As a matter of fact, production may start as early as tomorrow! Early indications via Reality Steve and others suggest that the first night is coming in just over 24 hours, and that seems to go well with the typical filming timeline for this show. Typically, The Bachelor wraps prior to Thanksgiving, so whoever Peter picks at the end of this will have a chance to celebrate with his family or vice-versa. We don’t imagine that things will be any different this time around.

One of the things that is perhaps the most remarkable about The Bachelor these days is just how much that this has really turned into a year-round phenomenon at this point. Just think about it — production starts on the new season this month, it’ll be done before the holiday season, and then ABC will use said holiday season in order to promote the new show! Then, Peter’s version of The Bachelor will premiere in January and right after the After the Final Rose airs, the new season of The Bachelorette will film. It’ll air in the late spring/early summer and, while that season airs, the new season of Bachelor in Paradise will film. It will premiere in August … and you can probably understand where we’re going here with this. It’s a long, drawn-out series of events that ABC has turned into a well-oiled machine.
As for whether or not Peter will be a good Bachelor, he’ll be fine — if nothing else, he shouldn’t be terrible and the real strength of this show is the casting of the female contenders and the ensuing drama that follows that.
