At the end of the latest episode, the final three in Dani Ryan, Laura Marie, and Creepy Jason all had a chance to be handed their master canvases — what they’re going to be working with for the upcoming episode. They have to each do a back piece, and the styles that they were each handed are tough and then some.
Dani – She has to do a biomechanical tattoo, one that was chosen for her since it may not be something that she’s altogether familiar with. That was one of the things that she was going to be fighting as the competition traveled further and further in: She is one of the least-experienced of the people still in the competition, that is something that she is going to have to contend with.
Creepy Jason – The idea here is to have him something that is based within realism, something that takes away his ability to draw and be creative. That’s what he excels at and this is a chance to shove him into a box that he may not enjoy all that much.
Laura Marie – Finally, let’s turn to someone who has done an exceptional job this season of being creative, unique, and rarely stumbling along the way. We would say that Laura is the favorite entering the final round, but doing something traditional and Japanese is going to be a way to see how she works within a world filled with rules. She thinks that she will be able to handle it, but we’re not going to know one way or another until this finale ends up airing.
No matter who wins, is this one of the best seasons of Ink Master in years? We do like all of the final contestants, in addition to their creativity and sense of style.
Who do you want to see win entering the Ink Master season 12 finale?
