‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: First photos of ‘Glee Project’ winner Blake Jenner
In just over two weeks, “Glee” will be back from its baseball hiatus with “The Role You Were Born To Play,” which is going to be planting the focus back largely on McKinley after a couple of episodes where New York seems to have taken a little bit more of a primary role. While some of you may still be upset about all the breakups, there is still plenty to be happy about, including a new addition who we think could be really great on the show.
Specifically, we are talking her about Ryder Lynn, who will be tackled by “The Glee Project” winner Blake Jenner. We saw from the Oxygen reality show that Blake is a genuinely good actor, and we like that Ryan Murphy has created a little bit more for him to do already for a character, rather than just placing him into a box as a home-school student with Christian beliefs or an Irish exchange student as he has with Samuel Larsen or Damian McGinty. On that note, does anyone even remember that Samuel is still on the show, given how little he has been given to do?
Based on these photos alone, what we assume Ryder to be doing with the glee club is rather simple: auditioning for a part in the “Grease” musical. Cory Monteith’s Finn seems to be serving as a nice mentor of sorts to him, whereas we are also starting to see him get involved with some of the other new characters including Marley (Melissa Benoist), Kitty (Becca Tobin), and Jake (Jacob Artist). Let’s hope that this guy manages to get some real screen time in the middle of everything else going on around him, as there are so many characters on the show already that it is hard to keep track of them all sometimes.
What do you think about these photos, and are you feeling good that Jenner will be a great addition to the show?

LOL no that was not written by a relative or PR or friend or whatever. I knew him from watching the Glee project and didn’t even like him ’til halfway through the show. But of course why would you believe me.

Correction to the above comments…Oops (big time)…Was just informed why the Unique character on Glee employs the use of “spanx”……Let’s just say it was very eye opening… and definitely had nothing to do with weight issues…

Wow….That was written by either Glee’s PR department, a relative, friend or the actor himself…..Overkill….Let the man’s performance speak for itself…On another note, Mr. Jenner has no need to fear gettin’ the Glee boot as he was hired before TGP 2 even began, in my (and a WHOLE lot of others’) opinion. It became patently obvious as time went on and info leaked out that he was a ringer, just as Samuel Larsen was last year. Don’t know if you’ve all noticed but there have been no wheels set in motion for a third season of TGP. The jig is up, people, as everyone now knows what went on behind closed doors at TGP. First year was entertaining not to mention fascinating…..second year fell flat. Couldn’t even begin to compare with the quality of the first season. What went wrong? There was nothing that said “real” about the latest season, especially the choice of the winner! Fooled me once….not interested in being fibbed to again. As for poor old Joe….What can I say?…R.I.P….Shoulda’ whacked his dreads and gone whole hog for the Gay persona instead of cloaking himself in the San Francisco hippie “I really love Jesus and he really loves me, dude” be-sandaled persona. Worked for Alex Newell didn’t it? I say give Samuel a mini to wear, Miley Cyrus style hair-do, 6 inch heels and some neon pink lip gloss (no need for “spanx” as the guy is noodle thin as it is) and he’ll be guaranteed an in with the Glee folks. Alex Newell 2.0. Apparently, that’s the ticket to Glee most-favored actor status in the writer’s room and in the minds of R, I and B. Joe better start dabbling in the Gay slash “bi” spectrum a.s.a.p. or he’s destined to become part of the furniture for the unforseeable future ala Rory style. Face it folks, this show is all bout sex and who’s doing what to who….underlying premise of each and every story arc on the show. Jeez, there must be a whole lot of sexually frustrated writers and producers in charge of this show. Teen angst gone to the dark side…..

I’m really excited about Blake Jenner being on the show. I absolutely loved him on Glee Project. He’s a great actor, has a lovely voice, and what many don’t know about him is he’s a comedian too (check out his old youtube improv videos). I’m very excited to see him on Glee, I know he was so happy to win the Glee Project. I think he seems like a great guy and I’m just happy for him that he’s living his dream, and I’m also very excited to see his acting and Ryder Lynn character unfold for a large TV audience. I certainly do hope they give him more of a role than Samuel Larson or other Glee Project contestants, I think Blake has the potential to be the “new Finn.” I have been waiting to see him on Glee for months now and I can’t believe there was that huge gap cause of baseball playoffs or whatever, what a cruel thing to make me wait to see him on Glee already! But at least I had something to look forward to. I was thrilled when he won Glee Project and I think he has the makings of superstar. But you never really know until time unfolds, so he could fade into the background of hollywood and Glee, for all I know. There’s just so much competition. Time will tell. But I’m rooting for him to have a nice role and to stand out among the hundreds of hollywood actors (I’m thinking more than just Glee here, I’m imagining a great lifetime of success for him). Because I believe he is much more than just a great actor, his positive attitude and humanitarian personality (as we saw on Glee Project) plus his many talents have the ability to inspire so many. I remember thinking that Glee Project producers would be stupid not to pick blake as the winner because they’d be missing out on a superstar. Well I guess they thought so, too. I can’t wait to see how Blake’s time on Glee unfolds. I hear he’ll be singing “Jukebox Hero” with Finn, I just listened to the original song and it is amazing!! What a great breakout song for Blake, I think it will be wonderful. I am really excited for him to be joining Glee (if you can’t tell already!)! I think he is more than just an actor or singer, I think he has the potential to be an inspiring, fascinating, creative, talented, funny entertainment icon.
