A Million Little Things season 2 episode 2, when it airs in October, is going to contain quite a few different challenges. For starters, it has to keep the intensity level of the premiere, and also find a way to deliver more teases that are powerful and shocking.
Take, for example, Eddie doing whatever he can in order to find Katherine. This relationship is going through some HUGE issues at the start of the season, ones that will be spelled out somewhat in the premiere. Eddie’s going to come clean about the baby, but is there going to be a way for them move past it?
Beyond this story, be prepared for episode 2 to bring the story of PJ to the forefront in some interesting ways — Chandler Riggs is going to have some opportunities to shine in the early part of season 2. As someone who still maintains that he was the most underrated performer on The Walking Dead, this is fantastic news.
Below, CarterMatt has the official A Million Little Things season 2 episode 2 synopsis with some more news on what’s coming up:
Eddie manages to keep Theo distracted in the midst of trying to track down Katherine, while Maggie realizes her mother’s surprise move to Boston might not be just for her. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with accepting Andrew’s ideas about the restaurant, and PJ makes a shocking confession to Rome.
We do think that A Million Little Things season 2 is probably going to take its time before unleashing more of its big twists beyond its premiere, but it really doesn’t feel like there is a reason to hurry things along. Now that the first season of the show is a success, the series can take a little bit more of its time trying to figure out how to build its characters. The twists are great, but if you don’t care about some of the characters at the center of them, the rest of the show will not work.
