The Masked Singer season 2: Meet the Penguin, the Fox, & the Flower!

So, what did we learn? Well, there are a LOT of exciting new characters this season! Think in terms of a Penguin, a Flower, a Black Widow, and a whole lot more. Some of these costumes, like the Thingimajig and the Skeleton, are off-kilter and unexpected. Some are a little more surprising. We imagine that a part of the challenge for the show this time around is to make some of these costumes cute and cuddly, but a few others more intimidating and/or dangerous. They want to cultivate a lot of different cool stuff and so long as they keep doing that, we’re going to be happy at the end of this. We just want to be entertained thoroughly when the dust settles on all of this.
One good thing that did come out of the special is that we got to learn a lot about some of these characters’ design without too much in the way of mystery. That still leaves us a certain degree of content to look forward to seeing. We don’t want the mystery to be ruined too soon on a series like this, especially when one of its primary selling points from the jump is the mystery. We like to have a number of big questions for as long as possible … and that’s often difficult when you think a little bit about how social media often tends to spoil everything in record time.
