‘The Bachelor’ scoop: Sean Lowe’s hometown dates coming up

Remember when it only seemed like a month ago that Sean Lowe was kicking off his season of “The Bachelor”? Well, that’s because it was, and now he is going to have to face the challenge of actually visiting four sets of parents in the most intimidating way possible for some hometown dates that will be airing near the end of this coming season. (This really just gives you a sense of how quickly this does blow by in real time.)

In a new post on his Twitter account, executive producer Mike Fleiss confirmed the news about Sean’s filming by posting the following message:

“Hometowns are coming. Very tough decisions for Sean. He has such a big heart. Great dude…”

Will Sean actually have some success at the end of this season? That much does remain to be seen, but we have to say that this franchise really does need a win at the moment thanks to the fact that Emily Maynard and Ben Flajnik have both recently ended their engagements with the people they chose on the show in Jef Holm and Courtney Robertson. Then again, the good thing about Sean is that he seems like the kind of guy who would be immune to most of this pressure, and he will probably not end up asking someone for their hand in marriage unless he was absolutely sure that it was worth taking a chance on first.

Do you think that the odds are high that someone like Sean can find someone through this experience, or do you think that every person who appears here is to an extent doomed?
