The Blacklist season 7 sneak peek: Liz spills the beans

With The Blacklist season 7 premiering next month, NBC is doing the best in order to lift the veil on some of what lies ahead! That includes unveiling a new sneak peek for upcoming episode, one that featured Liz deciding to go ahead and tell everyone precisely all she knows.

In this video, Liz made it clear to Cooper and Aram that the Reddington that they’ve been dealing with is not actually the real Raymond Reddington, but actually an imposter named Ilya Koslov. It’s clear evidence that Liz is taking Dom’s story from “Rassvet” to heart and that she believes much of what he’s saying. Whether or not she should believe it is a totally different story but for now, she does and you have to think that this could alter the perception of him by the Task Force. After all, Harold Cooper has a history with the real Reddington!

Yet, in the end Liz tells the Task Force not to allow this to change their perception of Reddington too much. The show must and will go on through the upcoming episodes, and we’ll just have to see in the end what that looks like.

One other moment in this video that we find notable is it being noted that Reddington is in French custody — it’s almost said as though he is being held captive by police rather than Katarina Rostova. Do Liz and the Task Force not know who is really holding Reddington prisoner? That’s a strong possibility going into what lies ahead here. It’s also worth noting that Liz admits to everyone that she is the one who is responsible for Reddington being behind bars last season; he wasn’t just caught, and that wasn’t a case of Reddington letting his guard down. This is something different and it’s definitely rather interesting.
