NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 premiere video: Mac prepares for a reunion

The NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 premiere is coming up in just over a couple of weeks, and there are a multitude of reasons for excitement. Take, for starters, getting a chance to see if Deeks, Kensi, Sam, and Callen survive what is a pretty difficult situation. From there, you also have questions all about Mac and Harm. What is their relationship going to look like on the other side of this episode? We’ve got questions all about that … but before anything else, the two have to get in the same room with one another! That is the subject of the sneak peek below, as you learn a little bit more about how Mac is feeling.

In this video, Mac has a conversation with Fatima as the two await their plane landing. They both realize that Harm will be on the other side of it, and Mac clues her in that this is the first time in nine years that the two will have seen each other face to face. This is also a good reminder to non-JAG viewers that the two were previously engaged, but the relationship did not work out because “life got in the way.”

Given that this episode does carry with it the title of “Let Fate Decide,” this could be an installment where we get to see these characters contemplate some of their future together. It’s clear just from the brief satellite communication together last season that the feelings are still there. The question that you’re left to wonder is more so one of how they will manifest now, and whether or not there could be some big, romantic moments coming. So long as we know that the two still have a chance at a future together, we’ll be satisfied with the end result.
