Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 14 video: Morgan’s past
It’s no secret to anyone out there that Morgan had a family, and that he has been through a lot since losing them. Yet, there is something so fascinating about hearing him talk about them. He cares about them more than he cares about anything in his life now, and you get to see his face light up in a way that you haven’t quite seen it before. The entire first part of the sneak peek below features the character talking about his family in some of Althea’s footage, which he is choosing to watch back to remind him of what was.

There is something deeper going on with Morgan, and it was clear back when he had tremendous guilt about spending so much time with Grace. He’s holding onto the past and is trying to make sure that he doesn’t forget it. He is chasing that feeling, but he is also chasing distractions from some of the other stuff on his mind. How else do you explain some of his insistence’s when it comes to the boxes? This is a man desperate to ensure that they are spread out as far as possible, to help as many people as he can. To use the common cliche, Morgan may be so desperate to help a number of other people because he is having some serious issues in the department of trying to help himself. It’s not something that comes easy for him.
Can Althea help Morgan start to realize that it’s okay to want things for himself? Consider that one of many questions we have entering this episode.
