How to Get Away with Murder season 6 trailer: Who’s in the casket?

How to Get Away with Murder season 6 is going to be the final season of the show on ABC and it may also be the most deadly!

Throughout the entirety of the series’ run, what we’ve seen from this show is a real tendency to lean as much as possible on the specter of death. The Grim Reaper has come in many forms, and now, it’s coming for at least one more major character. The latest trailer that we have for you below hints that you’re going to be seeing at least one major character in casket by the end of the story — presenting you basically with the show’s new version of its infamous “who is under the sheet?” mystery from the past.

As we start to speculate as to the identity of the deceased, remember this — How to Get Away with Murder no longer has anything to lose. This is the end of the road and because of that, it can take the biggest swings. This is why we wouldn’t be altogether surprised in the event we saw more of Annalise Keating’s one-time students dead before the end of this. It’s also possible we could see the end of Annalise herself, though what we think would be the most interesting is if she survived and almost everything around her got destroyed. It would be a great reminder of all of the pain and suffering that she’s endured, but then also the end result of some of her own actions. Annalise has been victim to some terrible stuff, but she’s also made controversial decisions. This is a deeply flawed character, but those flaws add to her appeal. They also add to the series’ overall sense of unpredictability, one where you cannot accurately chart most of the time what direction this story will go.

Will any of these characters find happiness? How many of them deserve it? To go along with the great casket mystery, we anticipate that How to Get Away with Murder season 6 will take its time examining this, as well.
