Jersey Shore Family Vacation: Mike ‘The Situation’ prepares for release
In a new post on Twitter, Mike’s wife Lauren (or Laurens, if you prefer to use The Situation’s vernacular) has confirmed that her husband will be coming back tomorrow. We imagine that this is an event that will be celebrated with food, family, romance, and probably more food. We also feel like there’s at least a small chance the cameras will be there to capture almost every moment of whatever reunion happens. It’s the perfect moment that a lot of people will want to see leading up to new episodes down the road.
As of right now, Jersey Shore Family Vacation is in the process of airing episodes that were filmed during Mike’s time away, including one where Vinny and Pauly went to see him behind bars. While they were not able to actually take MTV cameras within the prison, there is a photo of the three of them that surfaced following the meeting. This may have been a pick-me-up for Mike as he awaits his opportunity to live his best life once he is out on the other side.
The arc of Mike on Jersey Shore has been from start to finish interesting. We are talking here about someone who started off in almost a villain role within the series, but has since gone on to become a rather likable figure and someone who has fought his way to get some redemption and doesn’t everyone want to root for a really great redemption story? He’s on good terms with a lot of his cast members, but it remains to be seen the sort of person he will be like on the other side of his prison sentence. We know that this can be the sort of thing that changes some people, and we hope that he used that time to reflect and focus even more on trying to be a great person and someone who successfully turned his life around.
