NCIS: New Orleans season 6 filming in New York City for first time
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, you are going to see Scott Bakula’s Dwayne Pride head to New York City for an upcoming episode, bringing the franchise to a new metropolis where he will also look into a cold case. This is a case that has been buried for a good 20 years, but it will allow for Pride to have a chance to score some much-needed closure. Suffice it to say, that’s something that he has been wanting for a rather long time … even if he doesn’t talk about it all the time. We just have a feeling that it is lingering and bubbling underneath the surface.

To go along with the news of Pride being in New York, you are also going to be seeing an appearance from Shanley Caswell as Laurel, Dwayne’s daughter. She is living and working in the Big Apple, so if there’s anyone who is going to be able to show him the ropes, it’s going to be Laurel. There could be some fun stuff in here — our dream would be if at some point during his time there, Pride happened to run into a cop by the name of Jamie Reagan … but we have a feeling that this is probably not going to happen. We can still dream, though … right?
It’s been a little more common for shows over the past few months to go on location to shoot some episodes. Another CBS series in SEAL Team filmed chunks of its premiere in Serbia, while over on Fox 911 has spent some time filming in Mexico. Over on NBC, Blindspot has a proud tradition of going everywhere from Japan to Iceland for production of new episodes.
