NCIS season 17 episode 2 spoilers: Cote de Pablo appearance confirmed

Today the good news was officially confirmed by the folks over at CBS — to go along with that, we’ve also got a few more nuggets of info as well! The title here is “Into the Light,” and that is clearly a direct continuation of the premiere entitled “Out of the Darkness.” Judging from the first photo for the episode above, it also doesn’t look as though Gibbs and Ziva are going to be getting any rest between the premiere and the second episode — heck, this entire episode could be set just shortly after the season 16 finale, as well! These two are working in tandem to take out a potential threat in Sahar, someone who is after Ziva for unknown reasons and now after Gibbs as well. Sahar will appear in this episode, so clearly, she is meant to be an adversary with a certain degree of staying power – which is something we are always big fans of. NCIS is a procedural show, but when they get a really good villain that can pop up over a few episodes, we love that!

“Into the Light” – With their lives in danger, Gibbs and Ziva’s rogue investigation takes an unexpected turn when a possible terrorist plot is revealed, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Within this episode, we may get a good sense as to what Ziva and Gibbs are truly up against, and also understand that this story is not fully resolved — even if they get to the bottom of their current mission. We know that Cote is set to appear in at least a couple more installments this season beyond episode 2, so we’re excited to see how things evolve. Her endgame does seem clear — getting back to her family. It just remains to be seen how easy it’s going to be to do that.
