The Affair season 5 episode 4 preview: Noah sabotages Helen, Sasha

As we approach The Affair season 5 episode 4, Noah’s going to spend a little bit of time working in order to find her happiness. She and Sasha Mann have found a startling emotional connection with each other, and it’s one that is also turning personal at the same time. The more Noah sees and learns, the unhappier he becomes … and we have a feeling that this is only going to increase exponentially as we get further and further to the end of the season.

Noah attempts to sabotage Helen and Sasha’s relationship; Whitney and Colin face the hardships of their relationship; Joanie visits the graveyard.

In just looking and thinking about these stories, there’s a lot to be excited about. We’re always intrigued by stories on The Affair that dive into emotional depths, and with Noah, he’s got both everything and nothing. While his career is in a great spot and he’s got another book coming, he just can’t handle the fact that he doesn’t have Helen and he may never have her again. Meanwhile, Helen’s trying to reach for something to balance out her life, even knowing that there will be those who judge her. Why? There have always been those who judge her. She just finds a way to deal with some of the emotional aftermath of that as best as she possibly can.

As for the story with Joanie at the moment, the upcoming episode is going to maybe bring her more answers towards Allison … if it is Allison that she is really seeking out. Remember that Allison’s ashes were placed within an urn. Where did those end up? Her final resting place is one of what feel like an abundance of mysteries entering what should be an exciting batch of episodes ahead.
