The Resident season 3 key art throws you into a crisis
Within this image above, you see all of the show’s key characters in Devon, AJ, Bell, Mina, Conrad, and Nic all work in order to save a patient. It’s also a rather unique way to do key art in that they’re all in the moment, and it doesn’t feel like one person is being emphasized further over the other. Matt Czuchry is probably considered to be the main lead of the series, and even he is thrust right in your face over anyone else. It’s a reminder that The Resident is really an ensemble about all of these different characters.

Entering the first episode of season 3, we know that the primary objective is going to be clear: Seeing whether or not Nic is going to lose her father or her sister. On the other side of that, there are some other issues: Think along the lines of the hospital being bought out be a new conglomerate, one that is going to be out to emphasize its own priorities — which probably are not always going to be about helping the patients first and foremost. This will create a different sort of peril entering the new season and force the doctors and nurses into trying to find new ways to fight the system.
While The Resident may be about the individual characters and the journeys that they go on, make no mistake that this is also going to be a way to take on issues that are plaguing the modern health-care facility today. It’s a complicated world, and one that we don’t think is going to be getting any easier at some point in the near future.
The Resident season 3 will be underway in just a matter of weeks, and we’ll keep you posted on any other developments.
