America’s Got Talent 2019: Is Kodi Lee or V.Unbeatable current favorite?

As we approach the final weeks of America’s Got Talent 2019, we’re left with a number of questions to ask — but some of the biggest revolve around Kodi Lee and the overall favorites.

Coming out of this past performance show, it still feels impossible to fathom someone other than Kodi Lee getting the confetti and the grand prize at the end of the season. How else does all of this go? We’re talking here about someone who has been both incredibly skilled and also inspiring. He also comes from a field (in singers) that has been for a long time a very popular group among voters in America.

If there is one act who could challenge Kodi, at this point it has to be V.Unbeatable. The dance/acrobatic group from India has demonstrated since of the most incredible and athletic moves we’ve ever seen. It’s clear that these are young people who have devoted all of their time to being the best in the world and it shows. They’ve been daring, dangerous, and they’ve gotten genuinely better time after time. We think that they’re gaining an audience — but they have to be considered still underdogs.

Think about things this way — Kenichi Ebina is the only dance act to ever win America’s Got Talent — there have never been any acrobats who have. The general thought with this is that there is a ceiling to these sort of acts since America doesn’t tend to vote for them … but V.Unbeatable could change that. One of the things that they’ve done that is so smart is that they’ve found a way in every performance to include a stunt or two that we’ve never seen before — they’re genuinely mind-blowing and deserve all the credit for making this into a competition this year.
