TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 2 spoilers: ’24’s’ Annie Wersching checks in

When “Dallas” premieres its second season beginning on January 28, we are going to see a number of new faces gracing the South Fork Ranch vicinity … including a married woman who may still be stirring up all sorts of trouble.

According to a new report from TVLine, “24” alum Annie Wersching has been cast aboard the TNT series to play a character who, save from her martial status and the fact that she works as a transportation commissioner, is a little bit of a mystery. Then again, we have a feeling that it won’t be very long before her and her personality are very out in the open on this show.

When “Dallas” returned to television after decades away this past summer, there were a number of questions, with one of the primary ones being whether or not this series would really find a way to attract a younger following beyond just people who may have watched the show the first time. However, they really did manage to do that without too great of a problem at all, and with that the series received not only a pretty prompt renewal for a season 2 by the network, but a start date that did not really give the cast all that much time off.

Hopefully, the presence of someone from a fan favorite series will only further help the series grow. At the moment, Wersching is only a recurring player, but that can always change depending on audience response.
