‘The X Factor’ USA: Get ‘political’ with Britney Spears, Demi Lovato
There are ridiculous tie-ins to the Presidential election, and then, there is the latest promotional video from “The X Factor” in order to promote the live shows coming up next month. It’s really a master class in editing, and at least they do a pretty even job at making both President Obama and Mitt Romney both appear to be rather silly.
The video below is almost so cheesy that it really does not even merit getting a full description, but basically what it revolves around is the judges choosing to lay into our two Presidential candidates as if they were auditioning for the show. A few of the moments are funny, a few are predictable, and we’re actually a little bummed that nobody put in some of the actual clips of the candidates singing that we have seen in some various stops they have made over the past several months.
More than anything else, we have a feeling that both candidates (and possibly America) are going to be rather relieved that the media hype for the election will be over come November 6. The one other interesting thing worth pointing out here? That the first live vote for the show this year is actually going to take place beginning the day after America finds out who their next president is going to be. Hopefully, the voting method here will be a little bit easier to figure out than it is for some states during the actual ection.
Did you hear that “The X Factor” has already been renewed for a third season?
