What’s coming up on the Snowfall season 3 finale? Episode 10, entitled “Other Lives,” will be on the air in just one week’s time. This season already, we’ve seen changes, plotting, planning, and also the death of important characters. What we like to think is that Snowfall has thrown down the gauntlet so hard when it comes to the show that it wants to be — an unflinching period piece with danger, strong characters, and death. You gotta have that sort of fear underneath the surface. If you don’t, it’s harder as a viewer to get fully on board with the show.

This episode coming up may lead to regrets for Franklin … or the end for some other characters.

If you’re wondering whether or not Franklin is gonna be dead, the fact that he’s mentioned this way in the synopsis makes us think that he’s sticking around … at least for now. Can this show really work without him?

Given where we are now in the run of the season, we don’t think that you can be too shocked at all that the story is going to be secretive. What we also wonder is whether or not there will be a big cliffhanger, an epic tease for what season 4 is going to look like. We have a feeling that the show’s producers knew that they could be coming back for more in the early going this season and they planned for it. FX is typically good about allowing its shows an opportunity to end the right way — if the snow ever stops falling on Snowfall (yea, we’re going there with the puns), hopefully there’s enough of a buildup for it to conclude in a satisfying way.
