The Affair season 5 episode 3 video: First look at The Blacklist alum
In the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s new episode, you can see a first look at The Blacklist alum Mozhan Marnò in the role of an interviewer, someone who is trying to get to the bottom of answering this simple question: Who is Noah Solloway now? This is someone who went from a quiet teacher to a celebrity author with all sorts of trials and failings along the way — think in terms of the title affair, him spending time in prison, and him doing more or less a series of terrible things. The question ultimately comes down to this: Is there redemption now for Noah Solloway? Is he a different man now than who he ultimately was before?

We do think that this is an interesting question to ask, and we’re curious to hear what Noah’s answer will be. Our feeling is that perception can often dictate your reality, especially when you are talking about such things as a redemption story. It’s going to be up to the public, your consumers, to really determine whether or not you’ve come full-circle and you can be accepted. Answer this question the wrong way and you come across as arrogant. You have to be delicate, and that’s what Noah’s going to have to figure out.
Career-wise, is Noah in one of his best places in years? Sure, but in terms of his day-to-day life, we’d argue that he still has a little bit more work to do. He doesn’t have the trust of everyone that is close to him and his relationship with Janelle is still in a very-strange place after everything that happened at Vik’s funeral.
