Ink Master season 12 episode 14 preview: Is Laura in danger?
So could she actually be in trouble? If you were judging it solely based on the promo that aired following this past episode, you would think that there is a slight cause for concern. She’s worried about her own fate, and she also offers a perspective that we don’t often hear from contestants on the show. Often, we hear about contestants discussing how badly they miss home and, as a result of that, how much they struggle as a part of the competition. With Laura, however, she says that this place feels like home and she has more of a family here than she’d had before. It’s an emotional sequence that we don’t often get on Ink Master and it does make you want to root for her more — it’s another reminder of how badly she wants this. (It also helps that she’s one of the best artists.)
As for what else is going to be coming up within this episode, be prepared for Pon and Jake to start doing what they can in order to work together entering the final three. They recognize that the remaining women are threats, and also that Creepy Jason and Laura are close. If no one else is going to look out for them, why not fight together? Jake is probably the biggest underdog of the group right now — he hasn’t had the biggest edit or a ton of individual wins, but he is coming off of one of his best tattoos of the season. Is that momentum that he can carry with him now moving into the final part of the season?
Remember that there are only two more episodes to go until the big finale! We’re going to be in for a crazy couple of hours as this Battle of the Sexes starts to finally wind down a little bit.
