‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum signs on

Are you not satisfied with the likes of Maura Tierney, Michael J. Fox, Nathan Lane, and Kristin Chenoweth all serving as guest stars on a season of your show already? If not, you are crazy … but we have some news about “The Good Wife” that will still make you rather happy.

According to a new report coming in from Entertainment Weekly, the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star is going to be making an appearance as some sort of political operative in an upcoming episode. While we know that Lockhart Gardner is the primary focus of the show, we’ve always been in favor of as much political craziness as possible on this show; and with that, we admit that this booking rather excited us, even if we do not know at the moment whether or not he will be helping or hurting Peter Florrick in his current efforts.

Knight has kept a pretty low profile since his departure from the Shonda Rhimes medical drama after a hundred episodes back in 2009, but he did stop by “Law & Order: SVU” for a brief appearance last year that generated a great deal of hype. Hopefully, these set of guest gigs are going to eventually convince him to try and take on a little bit more of a prominent role on a series moving forward; after all, he is certainly talented enough to deserve one.

What do you think about Knight’s casting here?
