God Friended Me season 2 premiere spoilers: First details on ‘Joy’!

God Friended MeThe God Friended Me season 2 premiere is coming your way on Sunday, September 29 — and we’ve got a lot of news for you to be excited about within!

Take, for example, the central hook of the upcoming episode: Who is Joy, and what exactly does she want? If you recall, Joy is the woman who first turned up in the closing seconds of the season 1 finale, claiming to know about the God Account. Not only that, but she got Miles’ name from it! This is an expansion of this world and it raises many questions. Take, for example, whether or not there is some sort of connection between Joy and Miles that he doesn’t know about, and why God suddenly seems so interested in making this into more of a team effort.

While this mystery is going down, expect a more personal storyline to take place with Cara as she tries to find herself in Paris. She’s getting a chance to make a certain dream of hers come true, but what does that mean for her relationship with Miles? That’s one part of the story that we expect to be explored.
