FBI season 2 premiere spoilers: A personal story ahead for OA

The FBI season 2 premiere on Tuesday, September 24 has the potential to be big — and for a number of different reasons. This is going to be one of the most personal cases that we’ve seen OA take on while on the job. Not only that, but it just so happens that this is also going to be a chance for fantastic ratings. Think about it — we’re going to see this episode come on the air after the first episode of NCIS for Cote de Pablo in years. There are going to be a LOT of viewers on CBS on the night.

“Little Egypt” – After a bomb detonates at a restaurant in Queens, the case becomes personal for OA, who grew up eating there. But what initially seems like a terrorist attack reveals itself to be more complex, and OA goes undercover to prevent another incident, on the second season premiere of FBI, Tuesday, Sept. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Alana De La Garza joins as the cast as new Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille. John Boyd guest stars as Stuart Scola, Kristen’s partner out in the field.

The promo below (via SpoilerTV) does a great job of adding to the overall sense of drama and some of the high stakes that are present within this episode for OA. The focal point of the episode is a place that he considers to be home — he feels like a part of him is being attacked and because of that, he is going to do just about everything that he can in order to patch together the pieces of what happened. He wants answers, and he will do almost everything that he can in order to get them. This part of the story is going to be fascinating to watch and beyond that, so will the arrival of Alana De La Garza into the show. She is stepping in after the departure of Sela Ward following season 1.
