‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: Michael J. Fox returns!

For those of you who love “The Good Wife,” there is yet another reason to smile now: even though he may be a pretty busy man at the moment, Michael J. Fox is going to be returning yet again as Alicia’s rival attorney Louis Canning.

According to TVLine, Fox’s appearance will befor the upcoming eleventh episode of season 4, which should air at some point in early 2013 unless CBS pulls a fast one and decides to air a number of additional episodes more than this fall than they have in the past. As for the context surrounding his return to the show here, that much is still somewhat under a veil of secrey, but we know that when Alicia dispatched of him at the end of season 3, she did with the hope that he would not be coming back anytime soon to cause even more problems for Lackhart Gardner.

Considering the fact that Fox is returning to TV full-time next year when a comedy that has already received an astounding full-season order from NBC, we would be not be stunned “The Good Wife” finds a way to wrap up the Louis storyline at some point by the end of the season. After all, they would want to ensure that the character would not be missed or thought about too much in the event they are back next season, largely since it is highly unlikely that we would be able to see the actor pull double-duty not only on two separate networks, but doing two completely different sort of shows.

What do you think about Louis coming back for more, and are you always game for more Michael J. Fox on this show? Be sure to share some more of your thoughts below.
