Instinct series finale promo: How will Dylan, Lizzie’s story end?

There are a number of things that are interesting about the Instinct series finale airing on CBS this Sunday, with the first one being, simply, that CBS is promoting it as such. We don’t always see networks do this, given that it is them publicly recognizing that they are canceling a show that, perhaps, a lot of people out there enjoy.

We know that there are plenty of people out there who enjoy Instinct and, with that, there are plenty of people who are rather sad to see it gone.

So how is the series going to come to a close? Think in terms of a case that could potentially end up being one of the strangest ones that they’ve put there yet. After all, it involves a number of severed heads and a guillotine! Stuff like this is one of the reasons that this show was so interesting. Sure, it was about killers, but it had a tendency to present them in a way that was a little bit different and with that, very much exciting. At first, this is going to start with a murder investigation into just one person, but it could evolve on the other side into something that is so much more.

Meanwhile, be prepared for Andy to also have a big story of his own within this final episode, one that will call on some of his legal expertise. Hopefully, the relationship between Dylan and Andy is one of the things that does get a spotlight in this finale, given how it has been a key part of why Instinct is special. These characters brought visibility and love to network television, and in a way that we almost never see with main characters.

Do we wish there was a season 3? Sure, but we’re hoping that Instinct is going to get a chance to end its story on a high note, and with one of its most fascinating cases yet.
