NCIS season 17 filming update: More details on a crime scene
Yet, in the midst of some of the hard work, everyone is still able to have a little bit of fun — including while on the set late yesterday. We shared with you earlier this week some evidence that the team was shooting some sort of crime scene, and now, we’ve seen even more of it!

In a new post over on her official Instagram Stories (view quickly, as they can be gone at any moment), Emily Wickersham shared some footage of Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) striking a pose with a severed foot — clearly, there’s a pretty disturbing victim in the case they’re filming now! He’s also in front of a cemetery, so that only adds further to the creep factor. Who would murder someone at a place that is already full of people who have died? The simplest answer to that is someone who is clearly quite desperate.
To go along with this information, we know already that the cast filmed yesterday around horses at some sort of public place. Whoever died here may have been someone of importance for those around them, which leads to another intense and perhaps very-mysterious case. We know that the show’s got a lot of hype around its first episode because of Ziva but following that, we’ll see it likely revert back to some of its typical form and give us a lot of the same sort of fantastic memories we’ve come to know and love over the years. Within these mysteries, we also imagine that there will be some great individual moments for the characters.
