Manifest season 2 spoilers: Blue Bloods alum brought on board
So how about a little bit of casting news while we wait? According to a new report over on Deadline, Yasha Jackson (who played Eddie’s former partner Maya on Blue Bloods last season) is going to be recurring on the upcoming season as Suzanne. She is a dean at Astoria University and, beyond that, has a romantic history with Josh Dallas’ lead character of Ben Stone. Does this mean that the two are primed to get back together? We wouldn’t say that, but anytime you bring in an ex, there is a chance for some sparks to fly all over again.

Just in case that wasn’t enough for you, also know this — Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists actor Garrett Wareing is going to be recurring, as well! He is going to be a college freshman by the name of TJ, someone who also was a part of Flight 828. He’s been a little bit separated from the other passengers, and seems to be struggling when it comes to finding his place. This could be a situation that Ben helps with to some extent.
Could there be some sort of connection between the TJ and Suzanne characters? The description for TJ doesn’t specify what university he attends, but there’s a chance that it is the aforementioned Astoria … and we wonder if it is Suzanne who calls up Ben about TJ and some of how he is struggling on campus. If nothing else, it’s something to think about … and we know that Manifest as a series is quite exceptional at giving us stuff to think about. We’re still going to be spending the next few months thinking about how the writers are going to unravel the epic cliffhanger that they gave us at the end of season 1.
