Pose season 3 premiere date hopes for Billy Porter, cast
Let’s start off here with a reminder that there will, in fact, be a Pose season 3 in the first place at the cable network. This renewal was confirmed earlier this year, and that makes sense. The ratings for the second season are fairly solid and, to go along with that, this is one of the most-discussed shows on all of social media. It’s got a loyal audience and, most importantly, it was able to build things up in a reasonably short period of time. That bodes well for the next season — not only in a possible season 3, but beyond.
In confirming the news earlier this year, here is what FX Networks/FX Productions chairman John Landgraf had to say:
“Pose has elevated our culture and the TV landscape like few shows before it, and we are honored to partner with co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals on a third season … Our thanks to the entire creative team, including Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall, Sherry Marsh, Janet Mock, Our Lady J, Erica Kay, the amazing cast and crew and everyone at Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions for this incredibly entertaining, enlightening and groundbreaking series.”
What will the Pose season 3 premiere date be over at the network? We don’t think that the network is going to want to wait forever to bring us new episodes. With that in mind, we anticipate that the show is coming to be coming back in either the summer or fall of 2020. You don’t want to rush a story like this along, but you also don’t want to wait too long at the same time. Momentum is a thing when it comes to the world of scripted television, and you don’t want to do anything to slow the momentum of a show down.
Odds are, we feel like FX is going to share some more information on Pose season 3 at some point in the spring.
