On tonight’s Bachelor in Paradise 2019 episode, we had a moment that was a long time coming. After all, it’s been hyped for a while. Jordan Kimball and Christian Estrada got physical over something as simple as a pinata and some alone time, and as a result of it, production did what they absolutely had two. They were both booted from the show.
Do we think that Jordan meant to start a physical fight when he went up to Christian? No, but he did provoke him and we got to a breaking point very quickly. Chris Harrison got everyone together after the fight and made it clear that there is a “zero tolerance” policy when it comes to violence. If you get into a physical argument, you’re gone — no questions asked. Neither one of them really got any camera time in the form of confessionals, either. It was a pretty clear stance that the producers took.

On the other side of the two guys getting booted from the show, we heard from a lot of the contestants proclaiming that violence was “never the answer.” It felt a little bit like a PSA, but it was still something that felt very much like they needed to say it. All of them collectively want to get out in front of this and speak out about why it’s not the sort of thing that can be approved of.
For those wondering, we’d be surprised if either one of them is ever invited back onto the show — not that we think that Christian would have. Jordan, however, is a fairly popular figure within Bachelor Nation and we do think that his absence will be felt within the weeks to come.
What do you think about Jordan and Christian getting eliminated from Bachelor in Paradise?
