America’s Got Talent season 14: Susan Boyle returning for results show
Boyle is, without a doubt, one of the most famous talent-show contestants ever — and certainly the one with the most viral of auditions. She’s appeared on AGT a number of different times over the years, including the recent America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where she made it to the final round before eventually losing to Shin Lim. (Britain’s Got Talent is actually launching their own version of The Champions at the end of the month.)
NBC did not reveal in their press release what song Susan would be performing, but she did have an album entitled “Ten” that came out earlier this year. Within that, there are a lot of different songs that she could choose from.

In general, America’s Got Talent may need a little bit of a Susan Boyle bump to get some more attention with this season. While it remains one of the biggest summer shows out there, the live ratings are down a good measure from previous seasons. Maybe that could be over-saturation with more of these shows on the air, or maybe that is more a result of the judge this season or the format not having the same buzz. Regardless, we know that Susan tends to bring viewers to just about any project that she is a part of and we’re sure that this won’t be any exception to that rule.
What we’re seeing in general with these America’s Got Talent results shows is a real commitment to bringing back as many former contestants as possible. We saw this last week with Shin Lim and others stopping by.
