Fear the Walking Dead season 5 spoilers: EP on mystery Holly Curran role

Want to know some of what’s coming on Fear the Walking Dead season 5? We know that there are some cool things coming, including an episode Sunday that seems inspired by Dawn of the Dead.

Beyond that, though, we also know that there is a mysterious role coming for Holly Curran, one that the show’s bosses haven’t revealed much of anything about as of yet. Could she be the person responsible for the messages on the trees? Save for it being a somehow-alive Madison Clark, that is the other central theory that is out there. If you see what executive producer Andrew Chambliss had to say on the subject to TVInsider, you can probably into that idea even more:

She will be playing a character who is going to help someone make a fundamental change in their beliefs. That’s all I want to say. But we were excited to have her join the cast and she’s done a fantastic job, so we’re excited for people to see that story.

Doesn’t that sound as though Curran could be playing the person writing out all of the messages? It absolutely feels that way, given that we are talking about someone who could alter Alicia’s perception on life. It already feels like Alicia’s already changing and her mission is shifting over to finding whoever is responsible for these messages. Because they remind her of her mother on some level, she may appreciate the idea of trying to seek out someone who shares a similar viewpoint — even if it’s not Madison.

Of course, this is all just speculation at present, but it does appear as though Curran’s role is going to be significant whenever she does end up surfacing — we already know that there is a Fear the Walking Dead season 6, so we’re excited already to see what’s going to be coming up there.
