‘Gossip Girl’ series finale spoilers: It’s a wrap!

Even though we still have a while to wait until we officially say goodbye to “Gossip Girl” after six seasons on the air, the cast is already getting prepared to watch the hit series ride off into the sunset. How so? Let’s just say that they are already separating the end of filming courtesy of a wrap party.

If you look around on Twitter, then this is really all of the confirmation that you really need that the show has in fact wrapped up filming. The cast and crew had a giant celebration together, and now, everyone is getting prepared to move on to the next big thing. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester have already landed some major movie projects, and we have also seen the likes of Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick move on to some more indie fare.

What can we really expect by the time this series ends? We’re sure that there will at least be one wedding, and that we will see some sort of progression in the story involving Serena and Blair’s friendship. At this very moment, it has basically fallen apart to the point where they are not even talking. However, we really can’t imagine it staying this way forever. The same can be said for Dan’s isolation from many of his Upper East Side counterparts, even if he is feeling pretty heartbroken still over what happened to him with Blair at the end of last season.
