Big Brother 21 football delays, preemptions; markets to watch

Big Brother 21

Tonight, the latest Big Brother 21 eviction show is airing on CBS … but there may be some issues in watching it, depending on where you are.

The first bit of advice we can give everyone at the moment is to check some of your local listings tonight — NFL preseason action is ongoing and as great as it would be to say that networks care more about live eviction shows than they do exhibition football, that’s not always the case. In some markets, you’re going to see either preemptions or alternate networks. Prepare for tonight with that mind mind.

What we know at the moment is that markets in New York City, parts of Virginia, and also Cincinnati could be impacted by NFL-related issues, and there could be more that are out there. Visit your local station’s websites or Twitter to get some more information. We’d also suggest tuning in to your typical stations a few minutes early in case you have to fiddle around to find the right channel.

What’s happening on tonight’s new episode? You can read more about it over at the link here, but one of the biggest conflicts that we’ve seen over the past 48 hours is whether or not Kat could figure out a way to get people on her side after a long, exhaustive campaign. It’s been a very dramatic past 24 hours and there have been a lot of raw emotions in there. That could lead to a crazy eviction show tonight, and that’s to be followed up by a dramatic HoH Competition on the other side. That will play out on the live feeds in the weeks that follow what we had on the show tonight.

Of course, come back later tonight for some more coverage, both in article and video form. (Photo: CBS.)
