MasterChef season 10 episode 19 preview: The perfect sausage
Who will do well within this challenge? It’s mostly about two different things — creativity, but then also understanding what ingredients end up going together. You have to think outside of the box, but also still within the box warehouse. You can’t get too crazy because if you do, everything falls apart and nothing makes sense.
Here’s what we know entering this episode — the top three following tonight’s challenge were Nick, Dorian, and Bri — someone on her road to recovery after coming close to elimination here and there. The winner of tonight’s big challenge was Nick! He has a chance to be able to move forward and feel safe entering tomorrow’s episode — he doesn’t have to worry about anything, as he’s now in the top eight. Not bad for a 22-year old college student who is still really starting up in life.
Let’s just hope now that Dorian and Bri end up picking themselves up following their almost-win — they have another big challenge coming, after all!

The judges introduce an unusual special guest to the home cooks to inspire the coming challenge; the cooks produce a dish with their own version of homemade sausage in less than an hour.
The video preview following tonight’s episode suggesting that the “unusual guest” … was a pig. Seriously. Why are you bringing a pig in there to look at all of the sausages being cooked? That just seems a little bit cruel, doesn’t it? (Hey, this is MasterChef … nobody does weird stuff quite like this show when it comes to challenges.)
