America’s Got Talent results: Dunkin’ Save, Ansley Burns, Sophie Pecora
Going into the show tonight, we had a hard time of knowing just what the American public was going to do — and for many different reasons. For starters, singers are typically favored, but we didn’t actually think that all of the singers were altogether great.

The three acts in need of the Dunkin’ Save tonight are Sophie Pecora, Emerald Belles, and Ansley Burns. What’s our quick reaction to this? We’re not shocked about Sophie or Ansley, but we’re surprised in some ways that Emerald Belles made it — they do have a lot of fans in Texas! Our feeling is that we’d vote to keep Sophie around just based on originality — Ansley has talent, but she is still a little raw. She feels more like someone who would be great on this show a few years from now rather than in 2019.
We’ll update this article throughout the night with more updates — just know that there was a voting glitch and because of that, there is no judges’ decision tonight. The Dunkin’ Save will determine the last person to advance.
The results
Alex Dowis is through to the next round, and this makes us giddy mostly because it’s far from something we assumed was going to happen going into the show. Luke Islam, however, was a different story. He was a lock.
As for the next group of acts to move forward, Kodi Lee of course made it alongside Voices of Service, the Messoudi Brothers, and Greg Morton. We can’t say that we’re too shocked about any of the results to date, though we personally would’ve put Bir Khalsa through just because what they did was so unique and dangerous.
Ansley ended up getting the Dunkin’ Save … and we can’t say we’re too shocked by that.
