We’ll admit that at around the 80-minute mark of the episode, it felt like the fight was going to be between Clay and Christian. Why? Clay was upset because Christian wanted to take Nicole away from him after Christian already spend the whole day with her. Yet, it was clear that Christian still wanted to cause more trouble and he was ready to do just that.
However, by the end of the episode it was clear that there was someone else really at the center of all the drama — Jordan. It was Jordan and Christian who got into it at the end of the episode, which is mostly a giant bummer since it means that we’re going to be losing Jordan on the show moving forward and he is great entertainment. Why get into a fight with Christian, then? It does feel like Christian was there for “Nicole,” but his tactics towards getting her were way wrong. We don’t know if this is the way he acts within the dating world elsewhere; if so, it may explain a great deal about why things have not always worked out for him romantically.
As for why Jordan got into it in the first place with Christian, it’s because of his insistence that the “bad guys” not win. Clay was encouraged to go and talk to Nicole while she was talking to Christian and he did his part — that’s when Jordan stepped in and that’s when things got a little bit crazy.
Elsewhere in the episode, there was a lot going on. Take, for example, the random poem that John Paul Jones wanted to present to Tayshia. There was something so random about all of this, just as there was something so random about what’s going on with Chris Bukowski and Katie.
