Is The 100 new tonight on The CW? Expectations for Eliza Taylor, cast
Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting for a good while in order to see what else is coming up within this world. There is no new episode airing tonight, as last week’s “The Blood of Sanctum” is serving as the big finale. Therefore, you’re left to spend the next several months asking PLENTY of questions in regards to what happened to Octavia — one of the biggest cliffhangers of the year to date. That’s without mentioning anything else that is going on with what feels like a firecracker season — one that felt full of significant actor and also creator challenges to go along with it.
Now, let’s pose the other important question of note: Where does The 100 as a series go from here? How do they manage to top everything that they’ve just done? There are a lot of ways that they could do that, and one of the biggest ones is to establish early on in the seventh and final season what they want the show’s legacy to be. How many happy endings are possible? We do think that through all of the turmoil that Clarke, Bellamy, and some other characters have endured, there should still be something more that they have a chance to experience. They should be able to feel some element of hope.

Meanwhile, the writers also need to figure out what drives the characters towards that hopefully-promising ending. Is it getting more information on the anomaly, or is it introducing a new threat that everyone will take on? Are there other important moments sprinkled along the way? While we’re sad about the notion of the series ending, we are happy to see it going out on its own terms — that’s something not every show gets a chance to do.
What do you want to see on The 100 moving forward?
