A Million Little Things season 2 filming update: Where things stand

A Million Little Things season 2 is coming to ABC a little bit later this year, and it goes without saying that this is one of our most-anticipated shows of the year — and for many reasons. For starters, this is a show that makes us feel something that is very real and raw. It makes you think about the humanity that’s all around you and some of the highs and lows that characters go through on a day-to-day basis.

Beyond that, it just has an awesome cast — and we don’t just say that because we love James Roday and Psych is one of our favorite shows of all time.

So how far are things along in the second season at the moment? Think along the lines of four episodes! This was confirmed in a new post on Twitter by none other than DJ Nash (see below), who also expressed confidence that this is going to be an awesome season coming up — and we also have to imagine that it’s going to be an emotional one at the same time. Why wouldn’t it be? Just think for a moment or two about where things went over the course of season 1, and then also the mere fact that there are going to be more new episodes this time around.

If there is one a fundamentally-interesting way to think about the second season, it’s this — we gained a much more innate understanding of the world of A Million Little Things through the first season. Because of everything we learned, we’re now entering a position where the world is established. Because of the groundwork, you can spend some more time with the characters, understand what makes them tick, and then chart a better course towards the future … whatever that may be. We expect the second season will have some big reveals, but also introduce some new mysteries as well. This is a story that will deepen while, at the same time, you do get a few assorted answers.

A Million Little Things season 2 will premiere this fall on ABC, where it is a part of a summer lineup that also includes Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder.
