Good Witch season 5 episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Bailee Madison leaving
In the event you hadn’t heard already, Madison will not be returning as a full-time character heading into the already-renewed season 6, and we don’t think that anyone behind the scenes at the Hallmark Channel series is altogether surprised. Judging from the way in which the story is planned out for the finale, it seems like this is something that was long in the works. Grace is graduating and moving on to the next phase of her life. Due to that, the next new episode is going to be an opportunity for great transition. you will see characters look towards their future and recognize that they need to be prepared for it.

Grace and Nick’s graduation day arrives and Cassie tries her best to make the occasion truly magical.
Just as this upcoming episode will revolve around Grace’s graduation, there is an art-imitates life quality to some of this, as well. Just think about it through this particular lens — Madison has grown up around this show and as she continues her career, this show will have shaped much of her life. She’s got a lot of opportunities out there, and we don’t think that her leaving as a full-time cast member necessarily means that she will never be able to return. That possibility still feels like it’s out there, and it could just come down to whatever else is going on with her life and career at any given moment.
For now, just be prepared for an emotional episode featuring the graduation … and a sneak peek below that offers a little more information as to some of what’s coming. Let’s just say that this has a thing or two to do with a tunnel with all sorts of secrets. One way or another, this should find a way to link up to some of the other stuff coming in this episode.
