America’s Got Talent results: Charlotte Summers, Eric Chien, advance

America's Got Talent

Who ended up advancing to the next round on tonight’s America’s Got Talent? The Judge Cuts are over and with that, we’ve got a good sense now of the various performers who have a shot at winning this thing!

Before we get to sharing the remainder of the results and offering some thoughts, be sure to head over here to read more in terms of our take on tonight’s Golden Buzzer. We also have a new video below for more thoughts — after you watch that, subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and view our show playlist.

Eric Chien – Sensational close-up magician, and one of the best that this show has this year by a mile. What he does being able to make coins appear and disappear out of nowhere is stunning. Will he be compared too much to Shin Lim? That is a fear.

Charlotte Summers – A great young singer with a lot experience already within the singing-show universe. We have a feeling that she’s going to be able to continue leveraging from this and pulling from it to sensational results … and we’re absolutely excited to see what some of the next performances could be.

Voices of Service – Really lovely harmonies from the group tonight. From the moment that they came out and performed for the first time, it felt like a certainty that they would be moving forward to the next round. Now, we just have to see them up their game since sentiment is their biggest strength.

Marina Mazepa – One of the best contortionist acts that we’ve ever seen. So well-executed, artistic, creepy, but also really entertaining and well-produced. There were just so many strong moments in here from start to finish that it’s hard to know where to begin with the praise.

Benicio Bryant – Not only did he prove himself to be a strong singer tonight, but also a great guitarist and someone capable of delivering original material. From the moment we heard him, he was really a no-brainer.

Jackie Fabulous – Finally, how about a quality stand-up comedian? While we wouldn’t say that she was as funny as the first time around, her jokes about dating still generated some laughs in the room and she got a ton of praise from Jay Leno — a guy who knows what it means to be a successful comic.
