Emanne Beasha gets America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer via Jay Leno
With Leno serving as the final guest judge, we had a lot of questions surrounding what sort of talent he would look for in order to give the Golden Buzzer to. He’s probably seen more talent than almost other person on this show. Think about all of the guests that he’s had on The Tonight Show over the years, whether it be comedians, singers, magicians, and so much more. He’s seen SO much talent! We don’t think he’ll be biased based on an emotional story or any particular sort of act.

So who ended up getting the Golden Buzzer love? It was the aforementioned Emanne Beasha, an opera singer who has some singing-show experience under her belt and also a fantastic voice. (She’s performed previously on Arabs Got Talent.) She had an endearing introduction, talked a little bit about some of the reasons she loves to sing, and then blew the judges away.
We don’t think that Jay Leno entered America’s Got Talent and its judge cuts looking to give Emanne the Golden Buzzer. After this performance, he felt like he really had no choice. He praised her honesty and her truth, and claimed that he was a witness to something “really special.”
Could Emanne Beasha win America’s Got Talent on the other side of this season? We think that it is a definite possibility, but there’s one thing that could end up holding her back — we’ve yet to see an opera singer win any of these shows. With that in mind, it would be a little foolish to expect that trend to suddenly change now … unless, of course, Emanne finds a way to make herself so much more than any previous singer on the show.
