The 100 season 7 premiere date hopes for Eliza Taylor, cast

What could The 100 season 7 premiere date be? Following the finale, you’ll probably wish that there is no hiatus at all — yet, unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting a while for a larger dose of what’s next.

If you didn’t know, The CW first confirmed a little while back that there will be another season of the Eliza Taylor-led sci-fi series. Yet, it was a mere number of days ago when they first made it official that season 7 will be the last one. This is a decision that we and many others may have expected for a while, mostly because this is around the time that many TV series end. As reported recently, this was also a creative decision that was done in this case by show executive producer Jason Rothenberg, who felt like the best time for him and The 100 to go is a time in which a lot of viewers wanted more of the story.

Given that season 6 is just ending now and The 100 isn’t on The CW’s fall schedule, you can go ahead and assume that it won’t premiere until at some point in 2020. Also, we don’t think that there’s going to be any rush to get the series back on the air until mid-to-late spring. That’s when the series has premiere as of late and because the network knows that it performs well there, it makes more sense to air it within this timeframe than try to force some other unproven show to try it. Also, ratings don’t matter as much in the final season anyway … there is no reason to be worried about whether or not there will be another season on the other side.

While there could feasibly be a few different casting announcements that come out over the next few weeks, we don’t foresee anything major coming in terms of a release date or anything more until later this year/early 2020. Patience will be necessary … and it may be rather hard to be patient based on however tonight’s finale wraps up.
