Suits season 9 episode 5 spoilers: First details on Patrick J. Adams’ return

Most of this is in line with the information that we’d heard already about this episode, save for one little tease: The fact that Mike is the one who initiates conflict with Harvey. We knew that the two would be in contention somehow and that Samantha would find herself in a tricky spot because of it. (This will be the first time that Katherine Heigl will be working alongside Patrick J. Adams on the series, so we imagine that there is going to be a little bit of fun to go along with that.)
As for whether or not this will be the past appearance from Adams on Suits, nothing is 100% confirmed. Yet, we personally feel rather confident at the moment that we are going to see him back for the series finale. Why wouldn’t he want to be a part of it? This would allow for a chance for him to celebrate the entire legacy of the series, plus spend a little bit of time alongside many of his favorite cast and crew members again. We know that he does have some other work commitments, so fingers crossed that everything works out as we like to imagine it would.
