Going into the episode tonight, what we knew was rather simple: America’s Field Trip was going to give the voting public an opportunity to pick three people for some sort of task — and, to go along with that, one of them will end up being in “jeopardy.” We were just eager to get more info and figure out what was really going on here with this.

With that, let’s present the new info — the twist isn’t for this week. Instead, it’s for the following week. Why in the world is this going on for so long? It’s probably because of Christie’s power. The three people voted to participate will compete in a challenge, and the winner will get safety. However, the loser will be nominated as a third nominee. This is an interesting complication with this twist since you are allowing someone who you may not like a chance to be safe.

Yet, our feeling on it is this: Vote for people you don’t like, or people from the majority alliance. If you don’t get out one of the Six Shooters, you do have an opportunity to get out some of the others. This is what makes a big part of this as a twist so interesting. You don’t know exactly how it’s going to impact the game, but it’s almost guaranteed that it will. Eight days is just a long time to vote. That’s the part of this that makes it incredibly frustrating. There’s no real reason to introduce it now if this was going to be the plan!
