Snowfall season 3 episode 5 preview: Is Andre getting too cocky?

As we move into Snowfall season 3 episode 5 on FX next week, there’s one thing that we have to expect: Someone letting a celebration get to their head. That person may just be Andre. He thought that he had a reason to feel a little bit secure after the LAPD’s latest actions, but here’s the truth — the police’s work is never done. Once you take out one threat, there’s another threat that is coming right on the other side. There are so many dangers around almost every turn and you have to be prepared for it. If you let your guard down for even one second, that’s all it takes for you to end up dead or out of a job. It doesn’t really matter who you are working for — you can’t screw anything up.

What we’re trying to say here is pretty simple — Andre’s in trouble.

Andre lets his guard down as he celebrates the LAPD’s victory; Teddy suffers a setback of his own after he questions Franklin’s ability to control his operation.

Throughout this upcoming episode, we’re going to see a lot of issues … clearly. There’s also going to be a lot of conflict. While Andre could be in for a rude awakening, there are a myriad of issues that could turn up all around him. Take, for example, Teddy realizing that there are some problems right around every corner and that maybe, coming at Franklin isn’t the best idea. Franklin’s at a point now where he’s been doing this for a while. He’s got some trust and that’s going to make him a little more unshakeable. We think that there are more struggles coming but it could take a good bit of time.

Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll see what happens when it comes to Franklin’s operation — but over time, he should be nervous. The longer the season goes along, the more dangerous and precarious a position that he’s in. He’s shown that he can get out of binds, but is it going to happen again?
