With that in mind, be sure to check out some of the latest social-media scoop on that subject now. In a new post on Twitter, Black made it clear that he and some of his co-stars are strapping into some hazmats suits and then running around to film a scene. Here’s the crazy part of it — it’s around 95 degrees today in Louisiana and to go along with that, they’re going to be filming inside of a barn. Suffice it to say, there’s a good chance that we could have some agents down because of the heat alone.

So what’s going to be coming for Black’s Lasalle over the course of season 6, we’re hoping for a big, powerful storyline from the get-go. It’s been a while now since the death of Lasalle’s father and because of that, he can move in a new chapter. Get outside, breathe some fresh seaside air, get some local seafood, and enjoy a day by the grill. Or, maybe get a new love interest at some point. We rooted for Percy and Lasalle as much as anyone but it’s clear at this point that the character isn’t coming back. Eventually, the writers gotta move the character forward.
The best part of the video below, though, is not hearing about the hazmat suits. Instead, it’s Black soliciting the reaction of his co-star Vanessa Ferlito (Gregorio) for her reaction to this current mission. Given that a number of NCIS: New Orleans cast members are away from social media, we don’t get too many updates on what’s going on in production. This one is welcome, and it’s also fun leading to the season 6 premiere airing on CBS this September.
