The 100 season 6 finale spoilers: Could someone die?

Are you prepared for The 100 season 6 finale? This is going to be airing on The CW in one week’s time and it is going to be emotional. The setting is Sanctum, and we knew entering tonight’s big episode that it was going to be a battleground. There have been a lot of plans in motion for some time — but sometimes, plans go out the window when the going gets tough. Entering the finale, we know that things are going to get really tough. This is one of the most important episodes that we’ve had a chance to see on the show to date … and there is a really good chance that someone can die. We don’t say that in some sort of corny, overdramatic way. This is just a big, fundamental part of this show. People die and they die often. It’s happened before with this series and we absolutely believe it will happen again in season 7.

Oh, and did we mention that there will be a season 7? Just in case you forgot, here is your all-important reminder of that very thing.

The episode was directed by Ed Fraiman and written by Jason Rothenberg (#613). Original airdate 8/6/2019.

We do wonder if, over the course of the finale, the storyline involving Sanctum will wrap up and, on the other side of that, we’ll have a chance to dive a little bit deeper into everything that is going on with the anomaly. We don’t imagine everything being tied together perfectly in some neat little bow in the finale. That rarely happens with this franchise, and we definitely think that the writers created the end of this season with another one in mind.
