The Bachelorette finale: Did Hannah Brown get engaged to Jed Wyatt?
Before she even got to the site of the proposal, though, we saw Hannah freaking out about the decision, leading to that moment where she walked out of the street, fell over, and then wondered whether or not she could do this. That’s when she had a moment with a producer as to whether or not she could make her big decision. It was kinda odd seeing her just standing in the middle of the street, but we knew that she would make her way to the site of that big proposal moment … eventually, anyway.

Soon after the next segment started, Hannah said that she was ready and was set to go to the proposal site in Greece. It was clear from the way Chris Harrison introduced the segment tonight that we were going to see Hannah pick Jed, and that was confirmed when Tyler arrived first to the proposal site and saw Chris. Hannah and Jed were engaged in the most cringeworthy way possible (including a song), but that wasn’t the end of their story.
Just a couple of days removed from filming, Jed admitted to Hannah that he was “hanging out” with a woman close to filming. Yet, he never framed it as a full-fledged relationship. That came out in the press and this led to a conversation that was on-camera after filming was originally done. That was when Jed admitted that he may have been deceptive … but he never thought that the relationship was that serious. He wasn’t honest and he didn’t open up about his past. Hannah hung his feet over the fire and told him that her experience was taken away from her.
At the end of this scene, Hannah took off the engagement ring and it seemed like the relationship could be at the end. She confirmed that the relationship with Jed was OVER — finito.
